Hospice Tzaneen was established in January 2009. We offer palliative care to enhance the quality of life of patients and their families by impeccable assessments and pain management.
We offer palliative care at the comfort of the patients' own homes. The patients can also choose to be treated at Hospice's In Patient Unit (IPU). Our In Patient Unit is a comfortable 2-bed unit where quality care is given by qualified staff.
What is a Hospice:
Hospice is a philosophy of care that believes every person with a life-threatening condition has the right to quality of life and dignity in death. Hospice personnel are trained to deliver this care.
Hospice Tzaneen is currently a 1-star Hospice, but we are in the process of upgrading to a 2-star Hospice. We are an accredited member of Hospice Palliative Care Association (HPCA).
